Turn of the century Weymouth seemed an exciting place. Investment was flowing in, the town centre was expanding, and it’d just got it’s first KFC and Whetherspoons – the wonder! I took my trusty old Zenit around town in the summer of 2000 to get a snapshot of Weymouth at the beginning of a new millennium.

Could almost be turn of the century Weymouth, I bet there’s very little difference between 1900 and 2000 except for the KFC and Wetherspoons!

Before those ” boat cafe’s” the ” sea life? tower, ” the beach “sand sculpture doughnut” newtons cove, the oasis walk, the debenams square, and the new cinema …..exciting changes in the last few years,
